How To Get Started

Our unique At Home Print Kit was developed for making impressions at home. For those who are not close to the Inland Empire area, our Print Kit is a great solution! The Kit is all inclusive and contains everything you need to make a temporary impression of your child's hand and/or foot at home. It also contains all the necessary packaging materials to mail it back to our studio for completion of your High Quality Custom Ceramic Impression.

    All handprints are handcrafted. They are not perfect and no two are the same, colors and shapes can vary. They can break in the firing process, if this happens we will redo the impression free of charge. We do not offer refunds on broken impressions. Orders take 8 - 12 weeks to finish.


    Online Kit Disclaimer

    If we don’t receive your Play Doh prints within 6 months of the order date, we will not be able finish the final piece. There are a number of reasons for this—children age, prices change, styles are discontinued over time. Prints that are received moldy, dried out or cracked will be thrown away.

    Our Print Kit should not be confused with other children’s handprint kits available in stores. With our kit, you can redo any print you are not happy with. You can do this as many times as necessary to get the print you want. We use your impression to make a mold. We use that mold to create the keepsake you design. We finish each of the Print Kit impressions, in our studio, in the same high-quality manner Little Bitty Prints is known for! Your satisfaction is always guaranteed with each piece.  Our finished products are a High Quality Ceramic and will not dry rot overtime, they are NOT salt dough.  It makes a thoughtful baby shower gift and a great gift for Grandparents!

    • How Long Does It Take To Make?

      Orders take 8-12 weeks to complete from the time that we receive the impression from you. If you've waited longer than this and still haven't received your impression, email us at kitorders@littlebittyprints.com or check the tracking number on your package. 

    • How is your product different from the ones in store?

      Our impressions are a High Quality Ceramic that will not dry rot overtime. Store bought impressions are a salt dough or plaster that will not last a lifetime and are known to dry out and break. 

    • Can I Choose A Custom Color?

      Yes! If you want a color for your impression that you don't see listed, please notate the exact colors needed when you check out or contact us.

    • How Often Can/Should I Get Impressions For My Child?

      Many people want to have their newborn child's hand and footprints and may also want to have them done annually after birth. This is up to you!

    • Is It Actually My Baby's Print?

      Yes! All prints are custom made specifically for you. From each fingerprint to every wrinkle on their foot, our prints are specific to your baby.

    • Are The Materials Toxic To My Baby?

      All items that come into contact with your child are non-toxic.

    • Can I Purchase More Than One?

      Absolutely! You are welcome to purchase as many impressions as you would like and we do offer discounts for multiple items. Contact us today for our multiple item discounts.

    • Is the impression 3D?

      No they are not. Some photos play tricks on your eyes but all impressions are pushed in and are not 3D.

    • It's been longer than 6 months since I received my kit in the mail and have not sent it back, will I still get my order?

      No, if I don’t receive your Play Doh prints within 6 months of the order date, I will not finish the final piece. There are a number of reasons for this—children age, prices change, styles are discontinued over time. Prints that are moldy, dried out or cracked will be thrown away.
